Please Do not forget to attend the Community town hall meeting

In order to address the 1 cent sales tax which will be used to help the city continue to provide its services to the citizens, and support the city employees.
I typically am not in favor of sales tax because they are regressive, but the city currently in the short term has no other way of generating revenue. Therefore I support this sales tax increase while also encouraging the city leaders to find other means such as property tax to generate funds for the city in the future. I support because the city needs funds now in order to keep services going as is and could possibly provide for some capital improvements in the future.
